GPM Music Group Reviews 2026: Is It Legit, and Is It Worth It?
GPM Music Group is a real, young playlist-pitching store with packages from $59 at the time of writing. Its refund policy is much narrower than its headline promise, and its stream estimates aren't guaranteed.

Short answer: GPM Music Group is a real company selling real campaigns. It's a young online store based in Calgary that pitches your song to playlists in its network for a fixed package price, from $59 at the time of writing. Whether it's worth the money is a separate question: its refund policy covers far less than its "money back" headline, and its stream estimates aren't guaranteed.
There's no first-hand campaign data behind this review. Everything below comes from GPM's own pages, its Trustpilot profile and Spotify's guidance, all checked on October 28, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- GPM Music Group is a real business with a 4.5 TrustScore from 928 Trustpilot reviews, but it's young: its domain was registered on June 21, 2025.
- Packages run from $59 (Emerging) to $359 (Superstar) at the time of writing, each with an estimated stream range that isn't guaranteed.
- Its refund policy only pays if you get no playlist pitches within 7 days. Missing the stream estimate is explicitly not refundable.
- Songs are removed from the playlists after 28 days unless you extend the campaign.
- Spotify says services offering guaranteed playlist placement for money violate its terms, so read GPM's promises against that line before you buy.

Is GPM Music Group legit?
GPM Music Group is a real, operating business. It lists a business address in Calgary, Alberta, its about page names a founder, Noah, who it says has been in the music industry "for over 6 years", alongside a Head of Campaigns, Hayden McHugh, and an A&R lead called TC. The store runs on Shopify. Its domain was registered on June 21, 2025, so it's been selling for a little over a year.
"Legit" and "worth it" aren't the same thing, though. GPM says plainly that it doesn't use bots: "No Bots. No Artificial Streams. Ever." For your money, the fine print matters more: what the refund policy actually covers, and how the model sits with Spotify's rules on paid placement.
What do GPM Music Group reviews on Trustpilot say?
On Trustpilot, GPM Music Group holds a 4.5 TrustScore from 928 reviews. Of those, 694 are five-star, 163 four-star, 17 three-star, 21 two-star and 33 one-star. Trustpilot also shows that GPM has replied to 100% of its negative reviews and typically replies within 24 hours.
The positive reviews mostly praise communication and playlists that fit the music:

Landing on playlists that really fit our songs!
With other companies we ended up on playlists that didn't fit. But with GPM our songs are landing on incredible Halloween and Christmas playlists and people are taking action on those songs and becoming monthly listeners.
The one-star reviews mostly say the same thing. Of the 20 most recent, posted between July 8 and October 21, 2026, most report streams far below their package's estimated range, and several say the playlists didn't match their genre. One reviewer booked the Breakout package in a buy-two-get-one order and reported 352, 335 and 157 streams from the playlists after 28 days:

I rarely leave bad reviews on…
Fair enough - I’m not expecting an exact number. But if the estimated minimum for my package is 2,000 streams, then 157 streams is less than 8% of the minimum. You do the math. My campaign is now over, and my songs have been removed from the playlists.
GPM's founder replied to that review, offering a free extension and acknowledging that "Sometimes our campaigns do miss the mark on estimated streams".
How does GPM Music Group work?
You search for your song on GPM's site, pick a package, and pay. GPM's team then pitches the song to curators in what it calls "our playlist network", and curators decide whether to add it. According to its FAQ:
- Your song must already be out. GPM doesn't take pre-release songs, because curators need to be able to add the track.
- Pitching starts after purchase. GPM says you'll receive placement updates by email within 24 hours.
- You get a list of playlists by email, and you track the results yourself in Spotify for Artists.
- Campaigns last 28 days. In GPM's words, after that "your song is removed from the playlists", with an option to extend through an offer sent by email.
- Mismatched playlists can be swapped. If a placement doesn't fit, GPM says it will re-pitch your song to different curators.
GPM says its curators "use targeted paid ads to bring real, engaged listeners" to the playlists, running Meta and TikTok ads. It also says every playlist is screened "using Chartmetric data and our own custom built auditing software". It doesn't name the curators or the playlists before you buy.
How much does GPM Music Group cost?
GPM sells fixed packages, priced per song. The site shows prices in your local currency by location, so the figures below were read with the currency set to US dollars, at the time of writing (October 28, 2026):

- Emerging: $59 (regular $100). 5+ pitches, an estimated 750 to 2,000 streams.
- Breakout: $109 (regular $180). 8+ pitches, an estimated 2,500 to 6,000 streams.
- Headliner: $199 (regular $330). 15+ pitches, an estimated 7,000 to 13,000 streams.
- Superstar: $359 (regular $600). 25+ pitches, an estimated 15,000 to 30,000 streams.
- Legend: $599 (regular $999), listed in GPM's store with 25+ pitches and an estimated 25,000 to 50,000+ streams. It didn't appear on the campaign selection page when we checked.
Add-ons, at the time of writing: Apple Music promotion at $60 (regular $120), which promises a "Full refund if not placed within 3 days"; an extra playlist at $20 (regular $50); a "Viral Anime Edit" posted to Instagram Reels and TikTok at $50 (regular $100); and a Campaign Upgrade at $50 (regular $200). Promote two songs together and GPM promotes a third free, up to five free songs when you buy five.
What does GPM's refund policy actually cover?
Less than its homepage suggests. The site and the refund policy describe the guarantee in different words, and the policy is always the narrower version.
The headline vs the stream clause. The homepage says: "We Get You Results or You Get Your Money Back." The refund policy says: "You are not eligible for a refund if your final results fall short of the estimated number of streams in your package". The homepage section under that headline does say an underperforming campaign will be "adjusted", which is a different remedy from money back.
Placed vs pitched. The FAQ promises: "If we're unable to get you placed into playlists within 7 days of purchase (which is very rare), we'll issue you a full refund." The refund policy only covers you "if you have not received any playlist pitches within 7 days of purchase". GPM's own FAQ defines the difference: a pitch is when "your song is submitted to a curator for review", and a placement is when "the curator chose to add it to their playlist". Under the policy's wording, a song that is pitched but never added doesn't qualify.

Takedowns. If your music is taken down "due to alleged fake stream detection", the policy says you "may be eligible for a refund", but only if all three hold: you haven't used another promotion company "within the past 8 months", you give GPM "read-only access to your Spotify for Artists account", and the campaign was bought or running within 30 days of the takedown notice.
Cancellations. You can cancel before pitching begins. After that, the policy says "cancellations are not guaranteed".
Which claims on GPM's site deserve a second look?
All four are GPM's own words, checked on October 28, 2026. None proves anything on its own. Read each one slowly before you pay.
- "Get your music into organic, bot-free playlists in under 24 hours." That's the homepage headline. The refund policy says "Campaigns may take up to 28 days to fully complete" and allows 7 days before even a pitch is owed.
- "Our placement rates typically range from 60% to 80%+". GPM publishes no data showing how that figure is measured, so we can't verify it.
- "9 Campaign Slots Remaining This Period", next to a countdown timer. The count read 9 every time we loaded the page that day. GPM doesn't say what a "period" is or how many slots it has.
- "40% OFF" on every tier. The same "40% Off All Playlist Promotion (Our Lowest Pricing Ever)" banner appears in Wayback Machine captures of GPM's homepage from December 2025 and March 2026, and was still there on October 28, 2026. A discount that's been running for most of a year is closer to the real price.
Does GPM Music Group break Spotify's rules?
That's Spotify's call, not ours, and we're not aware of Spotify saying anything about GPM specifically. What Spotify has published is a clear line. Its artist support page on paid third-party services says:
"Any service that claims to offer guaranteed placement on playlists on Spotify in exchange for money are in violation of our terms & conditions, and they shouldn't be used."
The same page says that "3rd-party promotional services that advertise streams in return for payment violate our terms & conditions, and using them could result in your music being removed from Spotify." Spotify's artificial streaming hub adds that "Spotify strictly prohibits using any third party service that promises streams or playlist placement in exchange for money."
GPM says curators make the final decision and that it "can't guarantee specific playlists". Read that next to the rest of its pitch: playlists "in under 24 hours", a full refund if you're not "placed" within 7 days, packages sold with estimated stream ranges, and songs that come off the playlists when the paid 28 days end unless you extend. You'll have to decide for yourself which side of Spotify's line that falls on.
Spotify is skeptical of the whole category, too. Its artificial streaming hub warns that some services "charge money to be “considered” for user playlists, but do not guarantee placements. Be highly skeptical of these services, as well." That applies to every paid pitching service, including the alternatives below. The difference is in what you're paying for: a curator's time to listen and respond, or a time-limited spot on a playlist.
What does GPM Music Group do well?
A low entry price. Emerging costs $59 at the time of writing, which is less than SoundCampaign's $80 minimum or Playlist Push's $280.
Responsive support. Trustpilot shows GPM has replied to 100% of negative reviews, typically within 24 hours. Several of the recent positive reviews mention fast, personal communication, and GPM's replies to one-star reviews often offer an adjustment or a free extension.
Published estimates. Every package states an estimated stream range up front, and the FAQ is honest that "no one can guarantee exact numbers". At least you know what GPM thinks a tier should deliver before you buy.
Re-pitching and a playlist list. GPM emails you every playlist your song lands on, and says it will re-pitch to better-matched curators if a placement doesn't fit.
Some takedown protection. GPM's refund policy covers takedowns over alleged fake streams. The conditions are tight, but they're in writing.
What would we change about GPM Music Group?
One refund promise, everywhere. The homepage, the FAQ and the refund policy describe three different guarantees. The policy is the one that applies, so the homepage shouldn't promise money back for results.
Evidence for the numbers. A 60% to 80%+ placement rate and stream estimates that several reviewers say they fell far short of need published data behind them.
No countdown pressure. A slots counter and a "lowest pricing ever" discount that's been running since at least December 2025 push you to buy fast. Neither tells you anything about the campaign.
Name the playlists before purchase. You only see where your song lands after you've paid.
- Low entry price, from $59 at the time of writing
- Estimated stream range published for every package
- Replies to 100% of negative Trustpilot reviews, typically within 24 hours
- Emails you every playlist your song is added to
- Offers re-pitching and a conditional takedown refund
- Refund only if no pitches within 7 days, not for missed estimates
- Homepage and FAQ promise more than the refund policy delivers
- Songs come off the playlists after 28 days unless you extend
- Placement rate claim is unverified
- Constant 40% discount and slot countdown
- Young company, domain registered June 2025
What are the best GPM Music Group alternatives?
The usual reasons artists look elsewhere are the narrow refund policy, results below the estimate, and wanting to choose who hears the song. These alternatives charge for curator reviews rather than fixed packages with stream estimates, based on their own published terms:

- SoundCampaign is the closest swap if you want Spotify curator pitching without a fixed package: you only pay for completed reviews, and a review that doesn't happen is credited back. See our SoundCampaign review.
- Playlist Push pays independent curators to review rather than to add, and credits back curators who don't review within 14 days. It starts at $280, so it suits bigger budgets. See our Playlist Push review.
- Groover prices every contact at 2 Grooviz (€2) and returns your credits if nobody replies within 7 days. See our Groover review.
- SubmitHub lets you choose every curator yourself, with a 72-hour response window. See our SubmitHub review.

When should you stay with GPM Music Group?
Stay if you've already run a GPM campaign, checked the playlists you landed on, and the streams in Spotify for Artists justified the price. Past results on your own music are better evidence than any estimate.
It can also make sense as a small test: one Emerging campaign at $59, with your expectations set at the bottom of the 750 to 2,000 range. If that would feel like money wasted, don't buy a bigger package.
Who is GPM Music Group best for?
GPM fits artists who want a simple, fixed-price package, are comfortable with results that aren't guaranteed, and are fine with songs leaving the playlists after 28 days.
If you want to pay only for curator reviews that actually happen, or to pick the curators yourself, a pay-per-review service is the better fit.
